The Capitol will screen the 1991 film “Ernest Scared Stupid” at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, with the event co-hosted by BG Horror Club, according to The Capitol’s announcement. The screening will take place at The Capitol, 416 E. Main Ave. in Bowling Green, the announcement said.
The film is rated PG, runs 91 minutes and was directed by John Cherry, according to the venue. The announcement describes a story in which Ernest accidentally awakens a troll on Halloween, and Ernest and other residents try to stop it from capturing people and turning them into dolls.
The Capitol’s announcement lists the showtime but does not state an admission price. It gives the venue’s contact number as 270-904-6040.
