Before You Go
WBKO's Nov. 6 forecast says "it will be chilly for the Veterans Parade in Downtown Bowling Green," with highs only in the middle 50s on Saturday, so dress in layers.
The city is also running an essay contest for students in grades 4-6, entered through their teachers. Winners read their essays at a Flag Raising Ceremony at the Warren County Courthouse. The city's page gives no time for the ceremony, so check ahead with the city.
