She was a longtime church pianist at Berea Christian Church for more than six decades and loved gospel music, performing with several local quartets and spending two decades with a senior singing group. She worked at a local underwear factory sewing line before retiring, then served as a caregiver and stayed close to longtime friends. She is survived by her sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her faith and love of the piano remained with her until her death.
