Bowling Green Public Works Appliance Drop-Off Event

This is a one-day appliance recycling drop-off event for Bowling Green Municipal Utilities electric customers to bring eligible working dehumidifiers, window air conditioners, or mini fridges for responsible recycling in exchange for a $100 incentive per unit. The event takes place in the parking lot outside the Bowling Green Public Works garage, with access via the entrance at 1040 N. College Dr., where signs will direct participants to the correct lot. Attendees must bring a recent copy of their electric bill, and there is a limit on the number and type of appliances accepted as specified by the program. Pre-registration is encouraged through the Efficiency Smart promotion page, and only eligible customers may participate.
