Active Shooter Response

Active Shooter Response (A) is a free training session in Bowling Green that focuses on the history of targeted violence, common traits of active shooters, how threats can be identified early, and how individuals and organizations can better prepare to prevent and respond to active shooter incidents. It is scheduled for September 21, 2026 at Bob Kirby Library and appears aimed at community members and local stakeholders seeking practical safety and preparedness guidance. Participants can expect classroom-style instruction rather than a tactical exercise, covering prevention, situational awareness, and response strategies.
