Western Kentucky University Athletics announced that WKU volleyball would play Jacksonville State in two Conference USA matches in Jacksonville, Alabama, on Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10.

The announcement listed the Friday match for 6 p.m. Central time and the Saturday match for 1 p.m. Central time, both at Pete Mathews Coliseum. WKU Athletics said the Hilltoppers entered the weekend 10-6 overall and 4-0 in conference play after sweeping Missouri State twice. Jacksonville State entered 3-13 overall and 0-4 in CUSA after losing two matches to Liberty, according to the announcement.

WKU Athletics reported that WKU had won all seven previous meetings with Jacksonville State, each by a 3-0 score. The announcement said the trip would be WKU’s second to Jacksonville State; the previous visit was Sept. 27-28, 2024.

The announcement also said Bowling Green will host the 2026 CUSA Volleyball Tournament at E.A. Diddle Arena from Friday, Nov. 20, through Sunday, Nov. 22. Tickets were scheduled to go on sale Oct. 15, according to WKU Athletics.
