Western Kentucky University Athletics says WKU volleyball will host Middle Tennessee at E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green on Friday, Oct. 16, with first serve at 11 a.m. CT. The match is part of Education Day, and admission is free, according to the announcement.
The announcement describes Saturday as Alumni Day and part of the Grow the Game Showcase, with an official Red Out and a post-match men’s exhibition featuring Ohio State and Ball State. It lists that WKU match as starting at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 10; that date is earlier than the announcement’s Oct. 15 publication date. The source does not clarify the discrepancy.
WKU Athletics says Saturday’s match tickets are available for purchase, and admission to the men’s exhibition is free with a WKU match ticket. It encourages fans to wear red and says Friday attendees are encouraged to park in Parking Structure 2.
WKU enters the series 12-6 overall and 6-6 in Conference USA after two 3-0 wins at Jacksonville State, according to the announcement. Middle Tennessee is 14-4 overall and 5-1 in conference play, which the source says places the Blue Raiders second in the standings behind WKU.
The announcement says WKU leads the all-time series 63-16 and has won the teams’ last 28 meetings. It also says the 2026 Conference USA Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green from Nov. 20-22, with tickets on sale.
