Western Kentucky University Athletics announced Thursday, Oct. 8, in Bowling Green that WKU women’s basketball junior guard Trinity Rowe was named to the Conference USA preseason all-conference team for the 2026-27 season.
According to the announcement, Rowe led the Lady Toppers in scoring in 2025-26, averaging 10.8 points per game, and earned All-CUSA honorable mention. She also recorded the conference’s best assist-to-turnover ratio, at 1.9, and averaged 4.5 assists per game, the league’s second-highest mark.
The announcement said Rowe shot 42.2% from three-point range, the second-highest percentage in CUSA. In WKU’s final game of the season against FIU, she made seven of nine attempts from beyond the arc; the seven makes tied for the second most by a Lady Topper in a game in program history.
WKU was picked sixth in the conference’s preseason poll, which was voted on by CUSA head coaches, according to the announcement.
The Lady Toppers will play a preseason exhibition against Young Harris College at 2 p.m. Oct. 31 at E.A. Diddle Arena, the announcement said. The game is the program’s annual Top’r Treat event, with pregame trick-or-treating and Halloween festivities. WKU’s regular season opens Nov. 4 against Chattanooga at Diddle Arena.
The announcement said season tickets remain available and single-game tickets are on sale, but it did not list prices. It also directed fans interested in supporting the program to the Lady Topper Legacy Club.
