Western Kentucky University Athletics said WKU Baseball’s scrimmage against Tennessee Tech has been moved to Friday, Oct. 9, at Nick Denes Field in Bowling Green, with first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m. CT. The game had originally been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, according to the announcement.

The athletics department said the schedule change was made because of possible inclement weather. Admission to Friday’s scrimmage is free, WKU Athletics said.

WKU Athletics listed the updated matchup as WKU versus Tennessee Tech on Friday, Oct. 9, at 4:30 p.m. CT at Nick Denes Field. The announcement said additional information about Hilltopper Baseball is available at WKUSports.com; it also listed @WKU_Baseball on X and @WKUBaseball on Instagram as the program’s social media accounts.
