Bowling Green families facing food insecurity now have an updated list of area food pantries, with newly verified service hours, locations, and policies designed to make access easier.

The updated list, announced this week by local service providers and community partners, aims to help residents navigate rising food costs and ongoing economic pressures. More than 1 in 8 Kentucky households struggle with food insecurity, according to Feeding Kentucky.

Local churches, nonprofits, and outreach centers collaborated to refresh the information — ensuring accurate pantry hours, ID requirements, and eligibility details.

Residents can view the updated list online through community service sites like the Warren County Food Bank and the City of Bowling Green outreach network.

“When families don’t know where to turn, clear information is as valuable as the food itself,” said Lisa Rice, local hunger relief advocate. “This updated pantry list ensures no one in Bowling Green goes hungry because they couldn’t find help.”

Bowling Green residents can now find updated pantry info for:

  • Warren County Food Bank

  • HOTEL Inc.

  • Bread for Life Ministry

  • Local church pantries

  • School-based food support programs

Several locations now offer drive-through pickup, evening service hours, and emergency distribution options.

Community members seeking aid are encouraged to check hours before arriving, bring ID if needed, and inquire about special programs for seniors, students, and families.

Bowling Green continues to step up for its neighbors. With verified pantry information now available, community leaders hope more residents will get the help they need — and those able to give will step forward to volunteer or donate.

“A stronger Bowling Green is one where nobody goes without a meal.”
