Boys’ state golf final round set for Bowling Green Country Club

The first round of the 2026 boys’ state golf championships concluded Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Bowling Green Country Club, and the final round is scheduled for Wednesday morning at the same course, according to the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA).

KHSAA reported that the lowest individual score after the opening round was 5-under-par 67. In team competition, St. Xavier led at 1-under 287, followed by Christian Academy-Louisville at 4-over 292 and George Rogers Clark at 8-over 296, according to the association. Bowling Green was fourth at 16-over 304, KHSAA reported.

Advance tickets cost $13, including fees, if purchased before the day of each round, KHSAA said. On competition day, the available ticket is $15, and tickets are sold online only; the association said there would be no cash sales at Bowling Green Country Club.
